Our Team
Ms. Gwendolyn Lindsay Cooley is the founder of Lindsay Cooley Law, LLC and a nationally recognized antitrust lawyer. Before private practice, she served nearly twenty years in public service, most recently as Wisconsin’s Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust and as National Chair of the Attorneys General Multistate Antitrust Task Force. In those roles, Ms. Cooley advised Attorneys General nationwide and helped lead landmark matters across technology, healthcare, and life sciences.
Ms. Cooley brings uncommon insight into how state enforcers evaluate mergers, conduct, and remedies. She has appeared on high‑profile trial teams and led negotiations in complex, multijurisdictional cases, building a deep network among state, federal, and international authorities. Today, she acts as special counsel to law firms and private equity clients, helping them anticipate enforcement risk, design practical compliance strategies, and engage effectively with enforcers.
She also founded Taimet, an AI‑driven merger analysis project, and owns and hosts the Antitrust 101 podcast, to provide a resource for new antitrust attorneys.
Active in the American Bar Association, she is a member of the Antitrust Section Council. Gwendolyn was also the 2023 recipient of the NAAG (nationwide) Attorney General Career Staff Award, and was named as a “Woman Making History” by Wisconsin Lawyer magazine in 2024.
